 I was priviliged to be accredited for the ICC cricket world cup in 2019. As a cricket fan, having played cricket locally and then covered cricket from grass roots, county championship and International for the regional and national media, it was amazing to cover the tournament in the UK, covering 11 grounds, 7 weeks of fixtures from warm ups, round robin, semi finals to THAT final.
