The Mask of Cheetah -RLP3138a

This image, Mask of Cheetah, is the first iteration of a series of images taken on the banks of the River Chelmer during COVID. The outcome reached was completely unknown at the outset, and I was exploring techniques based on a visiting speaker (Mike Curry) to Chelmsford Camera Club. The original file was shot with the light reflecting off the water, through a tree on the opposite bank of the river, and a sequence taken after a duck had swum through breaking up the calm surface. The original file was cropped, copied and reversed, stitched together. The original images had some colour temperature adjustments. This image looked at this point similar to a Cheetah in my mind. It's completely unique, in that the original file is sunlight through branches of a tree, reflected on a calm river surface ultimately disturbed a little by a passing duck, none of which could be repeated.
